I continued working on the join optimisation. I must admit I was not very efficient at the end of last week (in swiss one would say "j'ai pétouillé"): I should have grasped this optimisation quicker as it wasn't very difficult really. I believe I am back on track now: I understand the algorithm and have a partial implementation. I hope to finish it tomorrow.
